The escaped prisoner

Hello everybody

Firstly, I must apologize for the long time I've been absent here on Blogger. But I simply did not find any free minute to make a post or to shoot some pictures. Hope you can understand this.

Now I'm back at home. The two weeks in Dublin were amazing. I learned a lot about the culture (which is, in fact, not thaaat different) and met some lovely people. Especially my host mother and my host sister (she's from Dubai) I miss a lot. My host sister offered me these lovely earrings you can see on one of the pictures as a gift when I had to leave. It was very interesting talking to her about her culture and we laughed a lot. She's one of these people you meet and you have the impression to  have already known forever.

Do you know what is really depressing? When I came home, weather was even worse here in Switzerland. It is May! I can't believe some years ago we already went swimming in the river or in the lake at that time. I really hope it gets better soon!

Now to my outfit. The trousers I bought in Dublin (there are lots of lovely shops). When I showed them to my mother, she laughed. Then I asked her why she was laughing and she told me that I looked like somebody who just escaped from prison.
Anyway, I hope you like the outfit. Tomorrow school starts again, although I have not been there for only two weeks I can't really remember what it is like. But everyday life will come again too soon.

I'm happy about every comment, so leave me your impression about the outfit or the blog in general.

Oh dear Dublin

Hello everbody

As you might have read in my last post, I'm currently staying in Dublin for two weeks. I'm so sorry I could not share some pictures with you earlier, but I've been so busy that I simply haven't found the time so far. Dublin is a very lovely city and it's really worth a visit. The houses are very nice, the coloured doors look amazing and it's a great place for shopping! I could spend the two weeks just with shopping, but unfortunately (or luckily for my wallet) I have to go to school as well.

The only thing that drives me crazy is the weather. It's freezing! And because I didn't believe our teachers who said "Take warm clothing with you, it's cold in Dublin", I'm cold now all the time. I think the first thing I will do when I come home is taking a long, hot bath!
And the weather just changes from one minute to the other! The sun is shining, you're wearing your sunglasses and then, suddenly you have to take out your umbrella because it starts raining. And do you know what's very mean? You do not even have the time to take out the umbrella, because when you managed to finally find it in your bag and to open it, it has already finished raining...

But let's not finish this post with some bad things about Dublin, because it's really a wonderful city! I hope you like the black and white pictures (I think the pictures look better in black and white because the weather isn't really good at the moment and in colour the pictures just look dark)!
I think I will soon make another post about Dublin, I just hope I'll be still alive then, because I nearly get killed by the cars every time I cross the road because I forget that they drive on the left here...

The Spire

Trinity College - college in Dublin where The book of Kells is located, a famous bible from the Celts. It has a huge and impressive library which I personally really loved!

la jupe plissée

Hello everybody

The today's outfit consists of a plissée skirt. I really love this kind of material, it looks like summer. Unfortunately, sun isn't really shining today... However, I decided that the time for a new outfit post has come.

I'm very excited because tomorrow I'm leaving for Dublin. I'm going to stay abroad with my class for about two weeks. I've never been to Ireland before and I'm really looking fordward to going to. Unfortunately, as I've found on, weather won't be that nice for the next few days. There will be some rain, but I really hope that it will get better afterwards, as I hate rain. You get wet and then you are cold and you become annoyed.
We're going to stay in host families during the two weeks and, unfortunately, we're also going to have to go to school. But we are going to have a lot of free time and plenty of activities. I'm just excited! And of course I will take lots of pictures and give you some impressions of the city, which is surely a really beautiful one.

Flowers and jewellery

Hello everybody,

I'm quite excited because yesterday my new camera was delivered. Up to now, we took all the photos with the camera of my boyfriend (by the way, he's always the photographer when we shoot an outfit post - thank you very much!), which is really a good one and was quite expensive as well. But someday I thought that it is time now to possess a camera myself - and not just a lousy digital camera. Well, the reflex camera I finally bought is a model for beginners - but that's exactly what I need! And I'm very happy with it!
I want to show you some of the first photos I took, hope you like them! I had the idea to use the beautiful flowers which are all around there as a background for a shoot of some of my jewellery.

On the roof

Hello everybody,

Today I want to show you my jumpsuit, combined with a denim jacket. We were looking for a nice location to shoot the photos, and suddenly the roof came to our mind. There's been only one problem: I suffer from a fear of heights. But the thought to finally have some beautiful photos was stronger than my anxiety. I climbed the ladder, step by step, and half an hour later (well, that's what I felt) and with weak knees I finally arrived on the top. As soon as I felt hard ground under my feet again it got better. And the view was really great. We had a nice lake-view and and saw the roofs of the other houses. The weather was kind of a bit crazy and the sky looked dark, it was a special atmosphere. Hope you like the photos!

my other bag is CHANEL

 Hello everybody,

Well, today was quite nice because we had a day off (because it is the 1st of May), so I didn't have to go to school. Unfortunately, I had to work, as I work in a Café to earn some money. But I like the work, and today it was really nice because a lot of people came, as the weather was quite good. I prefer having a lot of work because time passes very fast then. Tomorrow will be school again, but I'm really confused with the days when we have a day off. I always think that today is a Sunday, but in fact it's Wednesday. So in two days there will be weekend again! :) yeah!

My today's outfit is kind of a sweet one. The bag, which says My other bag is CHANEL is self-made. Well, not really self-made, but it was printed only for me. Do you know these shops where you can print photos on a fabric bag? I've seen quite a lot of these bags, and I really like them, because often there are written really funny things on them. Do you have such a bag as well?
